New Zealand

 5.11 - 11.12.2007

I arrived at the beginning of November in Christchurch. Here i spent 3 days. I visted that few thing you must see in this City! After this I hired one of this funny Wicked Campers and I started with my traveling. I drove down to Akaroa...

After a few days i visited Lake Tekapo, slept at the Lake Pukaki, was also swimming in this fucking cold Lake, I walked to the edge of Mount Cook and drove to the capital of adrenalin, Queenstown. Here I did my first big thing in New Zealand, i jumped of a cliff at the Cannyon Swing. Fuck that was so cool! You jump down nerly 100meters and than you swing 3 or 4 times over the River. Really Really cool and a feeling I never had bevor.

From Queenstown I did a journey to the famous Milford Sound (600km return), it was a really nice nature and a lot of Wildlife. After this i started to get north. I spent 2 really nice days in Wanaka, before I slowly arrived at the Franz Joseph glacier. Here I also met the first time since i started in Germany, old friends. I had all the day fun with Dani, her family, Vroni and her friend. It was really cool to met old friends and people you know from before.

After a few really nice days on the Westcoast and a really cool Sunset i arrived at the Tabel Tasman went swimming at the golden bay and it's golden sand and started to the last Part on the south Island. It was not really so big and there also was not this much to see so I nearly traveled straight on to Picton. Her I met Dani and co again (to my surprise) and catched with them togther the Ferry to Welligton.

Here we had a really nice dinner at the restaurant where Dani worked before. The next day we did a stupid tour to a Lord of the rings scenic. The funny thing was we didn't found this for more than 2 hours, but it was ok, we had fun...

From here we drove straight to Lake Toupo, because we wanted to jump of a plan. But when we arrived here they said we can't jump because there would be to much wind. So they all traveled away but I stayed another dayin Taupo, because it's really nice her. The next day I jumped myself out of the plane! The 60sec was one of the best time in my life! I fly like a bird and nothing around you was important only you and the really really nice view....

From here I traveled north again over Rotorua, the East-coast to the Coromandel region. That's one of the best Parts of New Zealand. A really nice nature and less people. So I spent here 3 wonderful days. This was also nearly the End of my journey. A few days later I gave my Camper back and spent 4 rainy days in Auckland.

So my New Zealand Journey was a really cool part of my time down there. With the best was to sleep in the Camper where ever you want in this really cool and nice Nature.....
